The goal of the BalticGrid project is to extend the European Grid by integrating new partners from the Baltic States (Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia) in the European Grid research community and to foster the development of Grid infrastructure in these countries. To this end, the BalticGrid consortium has enlisted the help of experienced EU Grid computing centers whose aim will be to guide our new partners through the process of deploying Grid resources and applications at their respective institutions. On 1 May 2008, the BalticGrid Second Phase (BalticGrid-II) project has started. It is designed to increase the impact, adoption and reach, and to further improve the support of services and users of the recently created e-Infrastructure in the Baltic States. Go to BalticGrid-II web pages...

We encourage all interested visitors  to get familiar with this presentation. It tells about the Project - resources it offers to potential users, applications developed within the Project and integrated with Grid infrastructure and other useful information. The presentations also includes demos of applications running on the Grid by use of Migrating Desktop.
