BG-II successfully participated in the SC'08 bandwidth challenges (1.6-1.9 Gb/s for 5 hrs).
The Bandwidth Challenge, now in its ninth year, is an annual competition for leading-edge network applications developed by teams of researchers from around the globe. This year’s Challenge focused on real-world applications and data movement issues, and included live demonstrations across the SCinet network infrastructure.
