During the first day the following topics will be covered:
- Introduction to grid computing - gLite hands-on tutorial (Bartek Palak)– the training designed to help the user get started with EGEE middleware and to explain the use of gLite commands. The following practical exercises will be performed: grid authentication using VOMS proxy, management of data in grid environment and submission of jobs to BalticGrid-II testbed.
- Effective Application Enabling on gLite-based Grid (Tomasz Szepieniec)
- MPI in BalticGrid environment (Rolandas Naujikas)
During the second day the following topics will be presented:
- Principles of Grid computing (Oleg Tchij)
- Exercises on application grid-enabling (Siarhei Salamianka)
- Grid security: Principles and Practices (Yury Ziamtsou)
